AKIN is one loyalty program shared across a network of independent hostels and hybrid hotels. One account works everywhere in the network — you earn on every qualifying stay and unlock better perks as you go.
The journey, end to end
- Enrol — create a free AKIN account. It works across every participating property, so you never juggle separate hotel programs.
- Book direct — book through AKIN or directly with a participating property. Direct bookings are what qualify for loyalty recognition; stays booked through third-party travel sites are not eligible.
- Earn — qualifying stays earn AKIN points and count toward your tier. Your booking syncs into the property's system, so front-desk staff see your membership at check-in.
- Tier up — as your qualifying activity adds up, you progress through the AKIN tiers and unlock better perks.
- Redeem — spend points on stays and rewards, and enjoy your tier perks (things like room upgrades, late checkout, and welcome amenities) at participating properties.
Points and tiers
Points are earned on qualifying direct stays and can be redeemed for stays and rewards across the network. Your tier reflects your qualifying activity over time and determines which perks you get.
The exact earn rates and the requirements to reach each tier are part of the live program configuration rather than fixed numbers we publish here, so they always reflect the current program. Ask the assistant "what does it take to reach each tier?" for the up-to-date requirements, or check your own progress in your account.
