Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the AKIN booking platform ("Platform") and participation in the AKIN Loyalty Program. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform

Use of the Platform

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or making a booking
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password

Bookings

• AKIN acts solely as an intermediary between you and Partner properties, or other services offerings ("Partners")
• When you make a booking, you enter into a contract directly with the Partner
• AKIN is not a party to the contract

Pricing & Payment

• Prices displayed on the Platform are set by Partner properties and may include applicable taxes and fees
• Some bookings may require advance payment, while others allow pay-at-property. This will be indicated at booking
• You authorize AKIN or the Partner to process payments as required

Loyalty Program

• As an AKIN member, you earn loyalty credits and status with each booking made through the Platform
• Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may only be used towards eligible bookings on the Platform
• AKIN may adjust, suspend, or terminate the Loyalty Program at its discretion

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation policies are set by Partners and will be displayed at the time of booking
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the Partner's cancellation policy
• AKIN is not responsible for refunds outside of these terms

Reviews

• Guests may leave reviews and ratings after their stay
• Reviews must be truthful, accurate, and respectful. AKIN may remove reviews that violate its policies

Liability

• AKIN is not liable for:
• The accuracy of Partner listings,
• Service quality or issues arising from your stay,
• Losses, damages, or expenses related to your use of the Platform or a Partner property or service offering
• Your legal rights under consumer law remain unaffected

Termination

• AKIN may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the Platform
• Governing Law
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia
• Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia
